A special election is scheduled for Dec. 11, 2018, in Riverside to fill a position on the Riverside City Council.
First day to vote absentee in the Washington County Auditor's office in Washington (no sooner than 29 days before election): As soon as ballots are ready (probably on Nov. 19)
First day to mail absentee ballots: As soon as ballots are ready (probably on Nov. 19)
Worry-free postmark date for pre-registration: Monday, Nov. 26
Deadline to pre-register in person for election (Auditor's office open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.): Friday, Nov. 30, 5 p.m.
