Riverside casino to host soil health event

Riverside Casino and Golf Resort will host the “Big Soil Health Event” Dec. 6-7.

On the first day, the keynote address will be given by keynote address by David Brandt, “the father of regenerative agriculture.” Brandt grows corn, wheat and soy in Carroll, Ohio and uses cover crops extensively.

Day two will begin with a keynote address from Rick Clark, organic/regenerative farmer from Indiana. Russell Hedrick, first generation farmer from North Carolina, will then share his experience in regenerative farming, direct marketing, distilling and diversifying his operations.
