Riverside City Council is excited to offer local Riverside youth discounted summer programming for the community. Washington County Extension will partner with the City of Riverside to bring Extension day camps to Riverside for a third summer. Riverside City Council will pay the majority of the camp registration fee for Riverside residents. There are three camps being offered for a variety of ages. Each camp includes a day of fun and hands-on activities at Hall Park. Registrations are due June 1 to the Extension Office.
Space is limited to 25 registrations for each day. Information and registrations are available at Riverside City Hall, Washington County Extension and on the Web at http://www.extension.iastate.edu/washington/. Riverside residents will pay a fee for the camps at the Riverside location. Registrations are due June 1 and camps will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Washington County has a variety of other day camps offered throughout the county ranging in topics from babysitting to farm safety to robotics to parachutes.
