Rock swap to be held this weekend
The gem, mineral and rock club and the Sac and Fox Rock Club announced they will be hosting a rock swap on May 13, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds at 2696 West Burlington in Fairfield.
The swap is open to the general public and the admission is free. There will be rocks, fossils, gems, handcrafted jewelry, poished stones and geodes available.
