Roemens to celebrate 50th anniversary
Marvin and Joyce Roemen of Fairfield will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 19.
The couple were married June 19, 1971 at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Ottumwa. Mr. Roemen is retired from Dexter Laundry and works part-time at True Value, while Mrs. Roemen is retired from MidWestOne Bank.
The couple’s children are Angela and Scott Berg of Brighton, and Greg and Dawn Roemen of Fairfield. They have four granddaughters and one great-granddaughter.
Mr. and Mrs. Roemen will celebrate their anniversary with an open house on Saturday, June 19 at First Baptist Church, 205 W. Broadway, Fairfield from 2-4 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall. No gifts please.
