Rosary, healing service planned at Spiritus Christi

A rosary and healing service will be held Wednesday at Spiritus Christi Independent Catholic Church.

A Rosaries of Divine Union will be at 6:15 p.m. and a healing service will be at 7:30 p.m.

Rosaries of Divine Union is a way to explore the contemplative dimension of prayer through the rosary.

The healing service is a service of prayer, communion and the laying on of hands in the age-old manner.

Everyone is welcome.

Calvarymen concert set in Kalona, Wayland

KALONA ? The Calvarymen, a southern gospel quartet from Hartville, Mo., will be in concert this weekend.

At 7 p.m. Saturday, the quartet will be at Lower Deer Creek Mennonite Church in Kalona.

At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, the group will be at Bethel Mennonite Church in Wayland.

The group has been together since 1985 and is known for its beautiful harmony and powerful message.

Everyone is welcome. A freewill offering will be received.
