Fairfield resident Timothy Laughrin steps into the voting booth this morning at the Jefferson County Courthouse. Residents will decide whether Patrick Bosold or Douglas Flournoy will replace Connie Boyer as an at-large city council member. Bosold and Flournoy were the top two vote-getters in the Nov. 5 election, but neither received a majority of the vote, which prompted the run-off election between the two men today. Polls opened at 7 a.m. today and will remain open until 8 p.m. See the Nov. 27 edition of The Ledger for a list of polling places.
