Ruth Eubanks celebrates 80th birthday

Ruth Eubanks celebrated her 80th birthday on Dec. 15. She was born in 1939, and grew up in the small town of Charlotte, Iowa, where she met her husband Roy Eubanks. The couple have been married for over 61 years. They have two children, Rhonda and Rory, five grandchildren and three great grandchildren from their oldest granddaughter Sunny who is married to Chris Brown.

Ruth Eubanks has lived in Fairfield most of her life working and volunteering in the local community. She enjoys gardening, cooking, and most days during the week you'll find Ruth and Roy having lunch together at one of the local southeast Iowa restaurants visiting with friends.
