S.H.A.R.E. orders due

Orders for February S.H.A.R.E. food packages are due Feb. 10.

The $25 best-value package for the month includes chicken breast strips, sole or pollack fillets, ham steak, sliced deli oven-roasted turkey breast, mashed potatoes, brownies and fresh seasonal produce.

Other packages, such as a meat-only package, also are available.

Pickup is set for 8 a.m. Feb. 25 at the Fairfield Eagles Club.

S.H.A.R.E. is a nonprofit food buying group that offers good, nutritious products at a reduced cost through a volunteer-run, community based distribution system.

Everyone is welcome to participate; there are no membership fees or income guidelines, although participants are asked to volunteer two hours of their time each month to help any organization or individual they select.
