Sacha Club

The Sasha Club members met at the Ainsworth North Church for the January meeting. President Karen Megchelsen conducted the business with Jolene Colthurst reporting the treasurer?s report. Margene Erlenbush gave the secretary?s report. Members responded to roll call by answering, what have you done recently for others.

Margene filled grocery sacks for the church pantry. Several thank-you notes were read for the club's participation. Volunteers are needed for the Ainsworth blood drive to be held Feb. 16, at the Ainsworth South Building from 2 to 7 p.m.

Kathy Bean reported for the Christmas clothing and food baskets that went to 75 families in the Ainsworth area. She told of the mission committee?s year-round help and the generous help received from many individuals and business organizations. She gave a tour of the building to close her program.

Margene provided refreshments. The next meeting will be Feb. 23.
