Sacha Club meets at Ainsworth Community Church

Ten members of the Sacha Club met March 24 at the Ainsworth Community Church. President Brenda Bean called the meeting to order.
Roll call was answered by telling "your favorite candy". Several familiar candy bars were named as well as other homemade candies.
Linda McNeil read the minutes of the previous meeting and they were approved as read. Karen Megchelsen gave the treasurer's report.
Old Business: The outdoor bulletin board was discussed and it was decided to get it ordered and when the weather gets warmer it can be put up on the Ainsworth City Hall Building.
A report on the recent Blood Drive was given and the bill associated with that was approved.
New Business: The Easter Egg Hunt on April 19 at Marr Park was discussed. A sign-up sheet for workers and refreshments was passed.
The Sacha Club scholarship was discussed and the amount to be offered was approved.
The meeting closed with the Club Collect. The next meeting will be April 28 at the Ainsworth Church.
Refreshments were served by Rachel Carstensen.
CHAPTER L T.T.T.
Chapter L of the National T.T.T. Society members met at 7 p.m. on March 24, 2025 at the Olds United Church of Christ. The meeting opened with the singing of the "Sword of Gold".
Roll Call: Six members answered roll call with "Do you prefer a book or a movie?"
Minutes: Nancy McGohan read the February 24, 2025 minutes and they were approved as read.
Correspondence: President Shelman shared information from the latest issue of the T.T.T. Tidings. Some of the topics covered were: Ideas on how to find campers; the 63rd Convention; the Violet Award achievers; members that have passed from Iowa; new initiates; submitting photos; and how to increase the group's visibility.
The treasurer's report was given by Missy Fear.
COMMITTEE REPORTS:
Camp: Nancy McGohan reported that she had made contact with one girl who had accepted the group's invitation. President Shelman will do some inquiring to locate a second camper.
Charity: Nothing to report.
Camp Girls' Gifts: Missy Fear has reached out to Pat Miller and she will be needing some stamps.
Ways and Means: Karolyn Crawford stated she will be making calls next month.
UNFINISHED/Old BUSINESS: President Shelman attended the planning meeting in Burlington for the upcoming Convention that will take place April 11 and 12. This group is to help with registration from 4-6 on Friday and from 7:30-10 on Saturday, in addition to providing door prizes. President Shelman, Missy Fear and Nancy McGohan will be delegates. Discussion was held on the proposed dues increase and By-law change to be voted upon. A motion was made and seconded to donate to the National Project Fund and to the State Project Fund.
Motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS: None.
Bills For Payment: President Shelman presented one for items she had picked up for door prizes for the convention. A motion was made, seconded and carried to pay these.
PROPOSAL OF NAMES FOR MEMBERSHIP: None.
ADJOURNMENT:
President Shelman thanked those who attended. The next meeting will be Monday, April 28 at 7 p.m. at The Olds United Church of Christ.

HOCHSTETLER'S VISIT INDIANA
Joey and Alice Hochstetler visited last week in Indiana with their children: the J.B. Hochstetler family, the Matt Roberts family and Tim Hochstetler's family. They enjoyed time with each and attended Tim's daughter, Alena's orchestra judging where she was first chair.
