Sacha Club meets in Ainsworth

The Sacha Club met January 27, 2025 at the Ainsworth Community Church with ten members present.
President Brenda Bean opened the meeting and roll call was answered with "your favorite game". There were many interesting answers.
Secretary Linda McNeil read the minutes of the previous meeting, with two corrections. Karen Megchelaen will provide cookies for the Blood Drive in December.
Jolene Colthurst gave a program on the history of ice skates.
The treasurer's report was given. Bills: None.
Old Business: There was no new information on the Community Bulletin Board.
New Business: Blood Drive update: 41 donors have signed for the February 3 Drive and Ann Freyenburger, Linda McNeil and Rocky Roberts will staff the event and will serve refreshments. A Book Fair will be held at Highland Elementary on Wednesday, February 26 from 4-7 p.m.
Several students will help with this, as well as Brenda Bean and Rocky Roberts. Rachel Carstensen announced if anyone had updates to the scholarship applications to let her know.
The next meeting will be February 24 with Karen Megchelsen having the program and refreshments.
Denise Chalupa gave a program on "Games."
The meeting adjourned with the Club Collect. Refreshments were furnished by Jenny Gerot and Rocky Roberts.
WHITE CLOUD CLUB
Five members of the White Cloud Club met Tuesday, February 4, 2025 at 11:30 a.m. at Your Choice Family Restaurant in Wayland. A delicious meal was enjoyed, followed by a business meeting.
President Betty Lintz opened the meeting with a reading, "Add A Little Bit of Harmony to Your Lives." Roll call was answered with "What is your least favorite color"? Members decided they like all colors but favor some more than others.
Betty read minutes from the previous meeting and gave the treasurer's report. Card Chairman Margaret Patterson passed out cards for everyone to sign for members Joyce Huff and Pauline Richardson, who couldn't be with them.
New Business: March date night will be March 4, 2025 at 6 p.m.

The rest of the afternoon was spent visiting. Virginia Sands was hostess and provided table decorations and candy in the Valentine theme.
Those attending were Jolene Colhurst, Diane Johnston, Betty Lintz, Margaret Patterson and Virginia Sands.
