Sandra S. (Brewer) Orr, 67, of Washington died Friday, June 10, 2016, at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation Center.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Donald Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in Washington. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, from noon to 7 p.m., at the Beatty Funeral Home ...

Sandra S. (Brewer) Orr, 67, of Washington died Friday, June 10, 2016, at Pearl Valley Rehabilitation Center.
A celebration of life will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2016, at 10:30 a.m., at the Beatty Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Donald Combs officiating. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery, in Washington. Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 14, from noon to 7 p.m., at the Beatty Funeral Home with the family present from 5 to 7 p.m. A memorial fund has been established for Hospice of Compassus and the American Cancer Society.
Orr was born March 24, 1949, in Fairfield, the daughter of Kenneth and Louise (Conover) Brewer. She attended Fairfield High School where she met her husband William Clarence Orr, they were married in 1967. Orr worked at the Halycon House for 30 years and was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She enjoyed going to the family cabin in Columbus Junction, and baking, making candy, crafting and other activities.
Orr is survived by her husband, Bill, of Washington; two children, Timothy (Traci) Orr, of San Antiono, Texas; and Tammy Vasquez, of Washington; 10 grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Jerry Orr; and one grandson.
