Sandy Hackett’s Rat Pack Show Friday at Sondheim theater

Sandy Hackett's Rat Pack Show will be at the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center's Stephen Sondheim Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. Friday.

Celebrating 50 years of The Rat Pack, Sandy Hackett's show has been hailed as the next best thing to seeing members of The Rat Pack themselves. The show takes audiences on a journey back to the days of highballs, high jinks and happy hour with Frank Sinatra, Sammy Davis Jr., Joey Bishop and Dean Martin.

The Rat Pack ... they were style with substance, swing with swagger and a non-stop party. This critically acclaimed, entertaining theatrical production includes exciting new arrangements of the classic songs everyone knows and loves, including 'For Once in My Life,” 'My Way,” 'Mack the Knife,” as well as original songs and recorded voice-overs by Sandy Hackett's father, the late legendary comedian, Buddy Hackett. The show brings back Frank, Sammy, Joey and Dean (in their prime) to modern day. The ad-libbing and improvisation take members of the audience from tears to belly laughs.
