Santa visits Halcyon House
Dec. 28, 2021 1:50 pm
On Sunday, Dec. 26, residents gathered in Epworth Chapel at Halcyon House in Washington to sing Christmas Hymns, led by Chuck and Connie Atwood.
Last week was a week full of Christmas cheer and many musical performances for all to enjoy. On Tuesday, the Washington Middle School Choir came to Halcyon House to sing Christmas carols for the residents. It was a fun performance that brought many smiles and tapping feet.
On Thursday, Jeanne Redlinger performed Christmas music on piano and invited residents to sing along as she played. Some of their favorites included “Frosty the Snowman,” and “Silent Night.”
On Christmas morning, household residents woke up to see that Santa Claus came to visit. Their stockings had been filled with all kinds of goodies and treats. When asked, everyone said they had a wonderful Christmas! It was another great week at Halcyon House.
Lastly, we’d like to wish a happy birthday to Roger Cutkomp (12/27) and Audrey Stark (12/31).
