Sarah Greiner is a senior at Washington High School and a member of the Prairie Pride 4-H Club. She is the daughter of Brant and Amy Greiner, and she has two younger siblings, Jenah and Collin.
As a 4-H'er, Greiner has worked in the project areas of goats, food and nutrition, photography, communication, and Surprise Design. Her 4-H activities include serving as president, vice president and secretary of her club, serving as a County Council member, a State 4-H Conference delegate and a 4-H junior camp counselor.
Special 4-H memories include spending time helping friends wash and water livestock at the county fair and once in a while ?accidentally? ending up soaked. Also, she was on the the 2012 Livestock Judging Team that won state.
?Through my years, 4-H has taught me many things,? said Greiner. ?I have learned to lead gracefully, follow dutifully, work hard and take pride in the work I do. 4-H has allowed me to stand out among my peers as a risk-taker and goal-setter, and has allowed me to reach heights I never thought possible.?
Greiner has also participated in Dance Team, BPA, JOOI Club, St. James Parish, National Honor Society, as a dancer at Melissa?s Stairway to the Stars.
She plans to major in pre-pharmacy at the University of Iowa.
