Saying goodbye to our library pages, Anna and Hunter
AT THE LIBRARY

August has arrived, and back to school is everywhere you look. It is a reminder that the time has come to say goodbye to some of our college bound library pages.
This year we say goodbye to Anna Venenga and Hunter Rarick. Anna left for college earlier this summer to begin her studies. Hunter recently completed his last day and will head to school soon.
It is always a change for the first couple of months after a page leaves the library. Having them employed with the library for a few years gives staff the time to get to know them better and see them evolve in their library duties.
Hunter and Anna have been valuable leaders to our staff of library pages. Both were busy high school students but were able to balance school and work successfully. They both took extra shifts when asked and had a great attitude at work. We are going to miss them, but know our current pages will step in to assume those leadership roles.
We hope their experience at Washington Public Library will be valuable as they transition into college life. Thanks to them both for being so awesome in their job here.
