A local singing group is offering a $500 college scholarship to women from Washington County. Just Us Girls gives this annual scholarship to women who have been out of high school for at least one year and who are involved in music in the community.
Please pick up an application at the public libraries in Washington, Wellman, or Kalona, or at the Kirkwood Washington County Regional Center. Interested women may also email schantzregina@gmail.com for an application. Applications must be postmarked by Dec. 1.
