Scholarship award winners announced at ISU

Iowa State University has announced scholarships awarded by the College of Human Sciences and its academic units to students for the 2020-21 academic year.
Among the local students are:
Makenna Burdock, a History major from Washington, received the Neil Alexander Scholarship.
Michaela Hoffman, a Pre-Athletic Training major from Washington, received the Margaret Wiese Scholarship.
Kylie Wood, a Dietetics major from Ainsworth, received the Elinor and Walter Fehr Family Endowed Scholarship in Human Sciences.
Breana Yoder, a Child, Adult, and Family Services major from Washington, received the Clark Family Human Sciences Endowment.
Kristen Rohdy, an Elementary Education major from New London, was awarded the Elizabeth A. Elliott Fund and the George N. Heald, Nellie Stromer Heald and Joyce Heald Simpson Scholarship.
More than $1.4 million in student scholarships are offered each year by the College of Human Sciences and its academic units, in addition to monies awarded by Iowa State at the university level.
