SCOTT LUNDGREN

Scott Kermit Lundgren, 69, of Orr passed away June 2, 2019, in Hospice care at St. Raphael's in Eveleth. Scott was born to J. Kermit and Delores (Hanson) Lundgren on Jan. 24, 1950, in Onamia, Minn. Scott wore many hats and made many friends. He served the Air Force, Air National Guard, and was Deputy Sheriff in St. Louis County for 25 years. Scott was a pilot, managed the Orr Airport, part of Frying Club in Orr, certified flight instructor, and flew Search and Rescue and Fire Detection. Scott had his captain license and ran tour boat for Voyageur National Park Service. He preceded in death by his parents, J. Kermit and Delores Lundgren; and sister, Joan. Scott survived by his wife, Sandy; son Jason; two grandsons; and two greatgranddaughters; three stepsons: Bryan Fultz, Damon (Kim) Fultz, and Matthew (Nick) Fultz; five step-grandchildren; and brother, David (Beverly) Lundgren, New London, IA. Will be Memorial Service at American Legion in Orr on July 20. Honor Guard ceremony will be at 3 p.m. Family will be there for visitation one hour prior to service. Will be get-together at Ash Ka Nam on Ash River Sept. 8 starting at 1 p.m.
