Scouting for Food set for Saturday
Washington Boy Scout Troop 242 will be picking up nonperishable food items for the Scouting for Food this Saturday in Washington. Troop 242 leader Kathy Fields said the Boy Scouts will begin picking up the food at 9 a.m. Persons who would like to donate food but can?t leave it out on Saturday can call Fields at 319-461-3016 and she will arrange a time to have a Boy Scout come pick the food items up.

Food donated from this event will to go local food pantries in the City of Washington and the City of Ainsworth, Fields said.
