May. 30, 2019 11:18 am
The Scribblers Club met on Monday, May 20, at the home of Kathy Wiley, with nine members present.
The minutes of the previous meeting were read and corrections were made. Regarding the anthology that is planned, a few things were reviewed and clarified. The deadline is before Sept. 15. Submissions are to be made digitally to Martha Wiley or Rita Davis with a limit of four pages per member. A picture may also be submitted digitally at that time. Upon submitting to Wiley or Davis, members are asked to let them know how many copies of the anthology they would like to purchase. Hopefully, the anthologies will be received by Christmas.
Mention was made about Jackie Keck, a former member who recently died. A motion was made and seconded that a book be donated to the library in her memory. The librarian will be asked for suggestions.
Next month's dinner meeting was discussed and members will bring items for a salad.
The program for the evening was shared writing.
