SEISO announces Kidsymphony concerts for 2016 season

On Saturday, Nov. 12, 2016, the Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra (SEISO) will present Kidsymphony Concert for Families in three locations including:

-Capitol Theater in Burlington, at 11 a.m.

-Iowa Wesleyan University Chapel Auditorium, in Mt. Pleasant, at 2 p.m.

-Bridge View Center, in Ottumwa at 4:30 p.m.

The theme of this year?s concert is ?Dances Around the World? with music from a variety of cultures in Europe, Asia, the Caribbean and the Americas.

Music director, Robert McConnell and the SEISO will take a light-hearted approach to introducing children and their families to the symphony orchestra. The concert, designed especially to introduce children and their parents to the symphony orchestra, will include demonstrations on all the musical instruments.

Each concert lasts about 45 minutes. Tickets for Kidsymphony concerts are sold at the door.
