SEISO Chamber Orchestra to perform

At 3 p.m. Sunday, May 22, the SEISO Chamber Orchestra under the direction of Robert McConnell, will perform at the United Methodist Church in Washington. This concert features a dozen members of the SEISO (Southeast Iowa Symphony Orchestra) and includes seven strings, one keyboard, two woodwinds and features the first and second trumpets Derrick Murphy and Don Hughes as both solo and ensemble performers. Hughes is as band director in the Washington Community School District. The music spans the ages from baroque to popular to folk ?with something for everybody.

This concert is sponsored by the Washington Concert Association and is its last concert of the 2015-16 season. This concert will be free with purchase of a 2016-17 Season Ticket. As always, high school-and under-students get in free.
