Senator brings book tour to art walk

Sen. Rob Hogg of Cedar Rapids is bringing the tour for his new book ?America?s Climate Century? to Southside Books at 6 p.m. Friday and will be at the store during 1st Fridays Art Walk.

In the 120-page book, Hogg contends that science leaders, business leaders, faith leaders and citizens across the country are ready for America to embark on a new national mission of climate action and lead the world into a new global alliance for sustainability.

?I am especially excited to be coming to Fairfield on my book tour,? Hogg said. ?Fairfield is a leader in sustainability and our renewable energy future.?

The book will be available at Southside Books.

Hogg also will be donating a book to the Fairfield Public Library.
