Seniors eligible to update Medicare plans until Dec. 7

Seniors looking to review or make changes to their Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D (prescription drug) plans for 2017 may do so beginning Oct. 15. The Medicare Annual Enrollment Period (AEP) runs from Oct. 15 through Dec. 7.

The AEP is the only time of year when all seniors already on Medicare Advantage or Medicare Part D plans can make adjustments or enroll in new plans for the following year.
