Seniors invited to dress review of FHS?s ?Oz?

The Fairfield High School music department and the Broadway Players of FHS are inviting area senior citizens to a free dress rehearsal of ?The Wizard of Oz? at 7 p.m. Tuesday at the FHS Auditorium.
Dorothy Gale of Kansas dreams of what lies over the rainbow. One day a twister hits her farm and carries her away over the rainbow to another world. She, the Scarecrow, the Tinman, the Cowardly Lion and Toto travel the universe of her imagination and meet the Good Witch, the Bad Witch and the Great Wizard of Oz.
Performances are at 7:30 p.m. April 20, 21, 28 and 2 p.m. April 29.
High school students cast in the principle roles, but choir ensembles from Fairfield Middle School and the elementary schools are cast for specialty numbers.

Wood; Cowardly Lion - Evan Wood; Uncle Henry - Drew Grunwald; Aunt Em - Arielle Smith; Joe - Jacob Kessel; Toto - Izzy; Understudy - Buster; Sorceress of the North, Glinda the Good Witch - Baylee Bowman; Sorceress of the West, Wicked Witch - Sarah Morgan; Flying Monkeys - Jaclyn Flinspach, Duncan Phipps and Paris Bickham; The Wizard of Oz - Coren Hucke; Lord Growlie/General #1 - Tyler Breeding; Private #1 - Austin Blumme; Gloria ? Dakota Webber; Court Attendant ? Haley Grunwald; Oz Lady- Jaci Bell; Tibia - Gannon Haile; Visting Witch #1 - Meredith Wallerich; Visiting Witch #2 - Lalita Martin; Shrunken Witch - Joanna Funkhouser.
Jim Edgeton is orchestra director. Zach Reiter is music director, with the assistance of John Grunwald and David Owen, and Scott Slechta is artistic director, with the assistance of Betsie Wotherspoon. Rachel Biggs is student assistant.
