The project was his Eagle Scout service project, which requires a major effort to organize and lead a service in the community. The approximately 15 tons of stone used to rebuild the wall came from the old wall as well as Herb and Jan Shafer of Bentonsport, Sherry Wehrman of Glasgow and Chris Bennett of Bentonsport. Numerous other businesses and individuals donated to the project. The project took three days to complete.
