ServSafe® Certified Food Protection Manager Course to be held

Southeast Iowa Union offers audio versions of articles using Instaread. Some words may be mispronounced.
Iowa State University Extension and Outreach is sponsoring ServSafe®, the national certification program for food service managers. The course will be held in Fairfield on March 24, 2026 at Jefferson County Fairgrounds in the Cambridge Learning Center located at 2606 W. Burlington Avenue. All food service operations are required to have at least one certified staff person. Anyone interested in preparing and serving safe food is welcome to attend.
The cost of the course is $175, which includes 8 hours of class time, a manual, and the national certification exam. There is a discounted rate of $150 available for Iowa Restaurant Association members with verification prior to class. Registration is required by March 3, 2026.
