This Thursday, July 30, the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center hosts another installment of its weekly series 'Live from the Sondheim.” This week the center will host two performers, Seth Moore and Tray Good, who will perform at 7 p.m.
Never shirking a challenging topic, Seth's songs explore difficult themes like mortality, loss, militancy and prejudice, while also celebrating friendship, forgiveness and the resilience of the human spirit.
Born and raised in Tennessee, Seth's music is guided by a fierce independence. While taking refuge in the simplicity and clarity of Nashville's lyric-writing tradition, he draws from a wide range of influences including rock, punk and folk traditions from around the globe. A long-time collaborator with Nicholas Naioti (Cubits, MR NASTI), Seth's music is deeply influenced by the independent music scenes of Tennessee and Iowa.
As an added treat, Tray GooD will be joining the show as Fairfield's own consciousness-based hip-hop artist.
'Please join us as we enjoy the musical talent of your Center's Sound Technician Seth Moore and his special guest on Thursday, July 30th,” a news release from the arts center said.
The show can be viewed on YouTube and Facebook by searching for the Fairfield Arts & Convention Center.
