Seven MPHS students chosen for All-State Choir
Seven Mt. Pleasant Community High School music students have been chosen to the 2017 All-State Choir. Meagan Sutherland, Wyatt Carlston, Charles Greene, Paige Stater, Cara Canby, Callie DePriest and Lucas Lee were selected based on auditions held Saturday, Oct. 21, at Fairfield High School.

Seven Mt. Pleasant Community High School music students have been chosen to the 2017 All-State Choir. Meagan Sutherland, Wyatt Carlston, Charles Greene, Paige Stater, Cara Canby, Callie DePriest and Lucas Lee were selected based on auditions held Saturday, Oct. 21, at Fairfield High School.
They will join other selectees at the All-State Music Festival November 16-18 in Ames. The 71st All-State Festival Concert will be Saturday, Nov. 18, at 7:30 p.m. at Hilton Coliseum.
The All-State Music Festival is the highest honor a high school musician in the state of Iowa can achieve.
