Sewing workshop set for March 28
The Washington County Extension Office is offering a third session of the Ready, Set, Sew! Workshop with a whole new project idea. The Washington County Extension Office is offering a third session of the Ready, Set, Sew! Workshop with a whole new project idea. This workshop 4-H?ers wanting to explore the sewing project area will construct a gumdrop pillow perfect for a reading corner, lounge room, or TV cushion. The workshop will be held at the Extension Office on March 28 from 8:30 to 11:45 a.m. A Project Showcase will be held at 11:45 a.m. for parents, families and friends to come visit and see the day?s projects on display.
Participants will need to bring their own sewing machine; however, some may be available for borrowing by contacting the Extension Office. A list of material and other supplies needed is available from the Extension Office.
Registrations and a fee are due March 16 to the Washington County Extension Office. Contact Amy at the Extension Office at 319-653-4811 for more information.
