Shalla family reunion held Aug. 23

The annual Shalla family reunion was held Sunday, Aug. 23, 2015, at the Methodist Church in Riverside.

Attending were: from Washington, Roger and Mary Ellen Altonhofen, Cindy Wellington, Joyce Dickerson, Bob and Linda Bonar, and Sue Kretzschmar; from Kalona, Mike and Corene Welte, Laura Vogel, Doug and Connie Shalla, Sawyer and Mason Shalla, Jane Smutz, Diane Kron, Mike and Larry TeBockhorst, Norman and Marie Shalla, Wayne and Lou Ann Shalla, Jim and Annette Shalla, and Don Shalla. Also attending were Kenny and Jan Riggan, and Robert TeBockhorst of Riverside; Stan and Mary Lou Richenberger of Wayland; Helen Baker, Terry and Susie Duwa of Lone Tree; Jill, Jade, Josslyn, and Jenson Pippert of North Liberty; Linda Pribyl of Fairfax; Kimberly Bolt of Hudson, Illinois; Kari and Jayce Pendergrass of Mount Vernon; Emma and Jesse Shalla of Crown Point, Indiana; Leroy and Janet Bain of Iowa City; and Barb and Jim Munday of Lake City, Florida.

Larry and Mike surprised the group by playing music, and thanks were extended to them.
