Shelby Mineart receives the Dean Edwards Scholarship for 2016. Shelby will continue her education at Iowa State University and plans to major in mechanical engineering. Federation Bank awards the $1,000 scholarship to deserving students who reside in the Brighton area. This scholarship was started shortly after Dean?s retirement in 1999 in honor of the 47 years of faithful service that he devoted to the bank. ...

Shelby Mineart receives the Dean Edwards Scholarship for 2016. Shelby will continue her education at Iowa State University and plans to major in mechanical engineering. Federation Bank awards the $1,000 scholarship to deserving students who reside in the Brighton area. This scholarship was started shortly after Dean?s retirement in 1999 in honor of the 47 years of faithful service that he devoted to the bank. Ronald Dean ?Swede? Edwards recently passed away and in his honor his two sons Steve and Dennis Edwards awarded the scholarship to Shelby. Pictured above are Dennis Edwards, Shelby Mineart and Steve Edwards.
