The Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to an accident at 3:43 p.m. Monday, 4 miles north of Stockport on Stockport Road. According to the accident report, a 1997 Chevy Blazer driven by Trent Joseph Hootman of Stockport was southbound when Hootman lost control. Sergio Ricardo Stewart, 19, of Libertyville was arrested at 6:47 p.m. Tuesday at his residence for theft.
