Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office responded to an accident at 8:49 p.m. Friday in the 2200 block of Hemlock Avenue. Christopher Scott Manning of Batavia, was driving a 1994 Toyota Camry south on Hemlock Avenue, approximately a quarter mile south of 220th St., lost control on the ice and slid into the path of a 2005 Chevrolet pickup, driven by Logan Richard Metcalf. Each vehicle had an estimated $2,000 in damages.
