Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office reports three deer-related vehicle accidents since Friday.
Sandra Kay Steele of 1009 S. Fourth St. was driving a 2012 Kia Sportage northbound on Hemlock Avenue at 7:13 p.m. Friday when she struck a deer in the roadway. Her vehicle sustained functional damage to bumper, grill, hood and driver?s side front quarter.

Sandra Kay Steele of 1009 S. Fourth St. was driving a 2012 Kia Sportage northbound on Hemlock Avenue at 7:13 p.m. Friday when she struck a deer in the roadway. Her vehicle sustained functional damage to bumper, grill, hood and driver?s side front quarter.
Rachel Nicole Shaw of Richland was driving a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am northbound on Highway 1 at 7:58 p.m. Friday when she struck a deer in the roadway, causing disabling damage to the car?s bumper, hood and passenger front quarter.
Steve G. Bridges of Alexis, Ill., was driving a 2012 RAV4 Toyota eastbound on Highway 34 at 8:35 p.m. Saturday when he struck a deer in the roadway. His vehicle sustained damage to the front bumper and rear passenger tire, estimated at $2,000.
Thomas Slaney was cited for speed at 8:21 a.m. Friday when he rear-ended William Gevock as Gevock was pulling into a field entrance near Packwood.
