The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office reports the following incidents:
Saturday
4 p.m. ? Deputies are investigating a case in Batavia where two propane canisters were stolen Friday or Saturday night. Someone cut a padlock and the canisters were taken from a rack outside of the BP Gas station.
5 p.m. ? Deputies are investigating a theft case in Brighton. Jeremy Lynn advised that someone stole a 2011 Kaufman Tilt ...

The Jefferson County Sheriffs Office reports the following incidents:
Saturday
4 p.m. ? Deputies are investigating a case in Batavia where two propane canisters were stolen Friday or Saturday night. Someone cut a padlock and the canisters were taken from a rack outside of the BP Gas station.
5 p.m. ? Deputies are investigating a theft case in Brighton. Jeremy Lynn advised that someone stole a 2011 Kaufman Tilt bed trailer. The item is valued at $4,500.
Monday
4:14 p.m. ? Deputies are investigating a theft case in Hedrick. Robert Horras advised that someone stole six strap winches, 10 chain binders and 20-foot high-grade log chains. The estimated value of all items is $920.
Tuesday
3:27 a.m. ? An accident occurred in the 2000 block of Hackberry Way. Stacy Heckart was traveling south on Hemlock Avenue near Hackberry Way when she swerved to avoid a deer and lost control. The vehicle came to a rest on the drive?s side of the road. Joshua Stahl and Buck Bibby were in the backseat and were able to climb out of the vehicle. Libertyville and Fairfield Fire Department firefighters assisted Lesley Wisniewski and Heckart out of the vehicle.
