Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office reports a vehicle accident at 6:15 p.m. Thursday on old Highway 34 at Nutmeg Avenue. Coe Ann Mosinski, driving a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina eastbound on old Highway 34 was stopped, preparing to turn left, heading north on Nutmeg Avenue. Jefferson County Sheriff?s Office reports a vehicle accident at 6:15 p.m. Thursday on old Highway 34 at Nutmeg Avenue. Coe Ann Mosinski, driving a 1998 Chevrolet Lumina eastbound on old Highway 34 was stopped, preparing to turn left, heading north on Nutmeg Avenue. Melissa Leanne Allen of Lockridge, driving a 1996 Dodge Grand Caravan also eastbound on old Highway 34, said she did not see Mosinski had stopped, attempted to stop, but struck Mosinski from behind. Allen was cited for failure to stop in an assured clear distance and for no proof of insurance. Damage to the Caravan is estimated at $3,000 and $1,500 for the Lumina.
