Shoe drive Saturday at Fairfield Farmers Market
Maharishi School students are holding a shoe drive at Fairfield Farmers Market in Howard Park from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Sept. 25. Students will be collecting shoes that are gently worn, used or new, and will go to support micro-enterprise businesses overseas. Any color, any style, and any size will be accepted, whether they are sneakers, boots, dress shoes, sandals, athletic or casual shoes. (Photo courtesy of Laura Bordow)
