At the museum, Mike Zahs will give a talk and tour of the “History in a Cloth Bag” exhibit. It includes quilts made from feed sacks as well as shirts, underwear, pillowcases, wall hangings and rugs.
Masks will be required for the van ride. Register at the library’s front desk or call 319-653-2726.

Local historian Mike Zahs said he liked this cloth bag because of the graphic. Zahs will host a tour of the exhibit “History in a Cloth Bag” Friday at the Kalona Quilt & Textile Museum. (Union file photo)
