Sign-up necessary for hunters? class
A three-session Hunter Education Safety Class is set next week at the Southeast Iowa Skeet Club.
Preregistration is required for the free class. Call Shawn Morrissey at 472-4421 to preregister.
The first session is set from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 25. The second session is from 6-9 p.m. Sept. 27, and the third session is from 8 a.m. to noon Sept. 29. Attendance at all three sessions is required.

To purchase an Iowa hunting license, a hunter must show a hunter education course certificate of completion. The course is mandatory for everyone born after Jan. 1, 1972. The minimum age for certification is 12.
