Sinn celebrates 90th birthday

Lola Sinn will celebrate her 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Iowa River and Power restaurant in Coralville.

Sinn was born on May 16, 1929, in Fairfield. She has lived in the Keota, Washington and Wayland communities her entire life.

Sinn is a member of the Independent Bible Church in Wayland and a volunteer at Park View nursing home. She is a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She is the mother of Denny (Laura) Black, Mike (Bev) Black, Bill (Sherry) Black, Larry Black, Steve (Denise) Black, Gary (Jackie) Black, Tom (Deb) Black, Brad (Bonnie) Black and the late Doug Black. Her stepchildren are Harold (Theresa) Arbogast and Judy Teel. She has 21 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren.
