Slechta?s Cheer Camp to cheer for Trojans
Registration is underway for the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department Cheer Camp.
The camp will be divided into two sessions.
Session 1 is for third- through fifth-graders. The group will meet from 4-4:45 p.m. Mondays Sept. 9 through Oct. 7.
Session 2 is for first- and second-graders. The group will meet from 4:45-5:30 p.m. Tuesdays from Sept. 10 through Oct. 8.

Registration is underway for the Fairfield Park and Recreation Department Cheer Camp.
The camp will be divided into two sessions.

Both groups will meet in the Roosevelt Community Recreation Center aerobic room. Participants need to bring a water bottle and wear shorts and a T-shirt to all classes.
The campers will learn Fairfield High School cheerleading cheers and moves, team spirit, jumps, stunts, tumbling, motions and more from teacher Emily Slechta. The campers will cheer during halftime at a Trojan football game.
Registration is required, and a $30 fee, which includes a T-shirt, is charged. A $10 late fee will be charged after Sept. 12.
