Smithburg, Jury engaged

Frosty and Cherry Hermanstorfer of Mount Pleasant announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Shelly Lynn Smithburg, to Stuart James Jury, son of Jim and Ann Jury, Deborah Jury and Kevin Denly of Farmington.

The bride-elect is a graduate of Fairfield High School, Iowa Wesleyan College and Buena Vista University, earning degrees in elementary education and accounting.

The groom-elect is a graduate of Harmony High School and Southeastern Community College with a degree in agricultural business. He is currently a self-employed contractor and actively involved in the family farming operation.

A wedding will be held at 4 p.m. June 18, with the reception to immediately follow at River Valley Lodge in Farmington. All family and friends are invited to attend.

The couple will reside on the family farm north of Farmington.
