Somer Dingman, 36, died December 7, 2018 at Great River Medical Center. She was born August 10, 1982 to Gerald and Donna Ruschill Dingman. She moved to Hope Haven in 1989. She graduated Burlington High School; baptized in the Catholic Church; liked Taylor Swift, shaking her rattles and outings with her Hope Haven housemates. She participated in Hope Haven work force development and was loved by many people.

Preceding in death are parents, paternal grandmother, both grandfathers, two nephews. Survivors include Stepmother, Mira Dingman, New London; sisters; Lacey Dingman (Tim Woodsmall) and Rachael (Joseph) Thompson; step-sisters, Jennifer Brown, and Lori (Curt) Wagler; Grandmother, Delores Ruschill; nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be at 11:00, December 27 at Elliott Chapel, with Mrs. Alisa Brouwer, Celebrant. Friends may call after 9; family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Private family burial of her cremains will be at Burge Cemetery. A memorial has been established for Hope Haven Ertz Home.

Her family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to all of her caregivers who have provided love and support over the years.
