The Fairfield Lions Club, Best Western Fairfield Inn and Fairfield High School Activities Department are partnering again to present the fourth annual spaghetti supper fundraiser from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Best Western.
The Fairfield Middle School Jazz Band, the Fairfield High School Jazz Band and a FHS vocal ensemble will be performing throughout the evening.
About 65 FHS students involved in spring sports and fine arts events will be working at the supper as greeters, waiters and servers.
?Parents, staff, coaches ? they all come out and do whatever needs to be done,? said Fairfield Lions Club member Lane Bush, one of the organizers.
Tickets are available from FHS students and Lions Club members. Tickets are $7 in advance and $8 at the door.
Bush explained FHS students will have promotional tickets to give away. When a promotional ticket is presented at the door, the advance ticket price is charged instead of the at-the-door price.
?This works really well,? said Bush. ?We had 196 promotional tickets at the door last year.?
Proceeds will be presented to the activities department to provide supplemental funding for fine arts and sports programs not normally funded by the school system.
