Anyone needing additional financial assistance can call CCSNAP at 469-2015.
Annually, 150 to 200 dogs and cats are altered locally during February. Spaying and neutering not only provides health benefits for the pets, but reduces the number of accidental litters and homeless dogs and cats.
The community can support this event by sending donations to CCSNAP at Noah?s Ark, PO Box 748, Fairfield 52556. One hundred percent of the funds received will be used to help the families requiring more financial assistance to alter their pets.
In 2013, CCSNAP assisted 597 dog and cat surgeries, preventing countless litters and improving the lives of many.
