Speaker to focus on Revelation

Sugar Creek Mennonite Church invites you to fall special meetings with Duane Yoder speaking on the book of Revelation from Nov. 9-11. Yoder will speak during the worship service at 10:30 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 9,and again at 6 p.m. that evening; at 7 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10; and at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 11. Sugar Creek?s MYF will also host the annual Chili Supper from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 11.

On Sunday morning Yoder will give an introduction to the book of Revelation and cover most of Chapter 1. On Sunday evening, he will cover chapters 2-5. On Monday evening, he will condense chapters 6-16, covering the seven seals, the seven trumpets, the prose narrative of chapters 12-14 and the seven bowls. On Tuesday evening, participants will look at the end of the age, the return of Christ, the collapse of evil, and the New Jerusalem in chapters 17-22.

Duane is a graduate of Hesston College, Bethel College, and Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminary. He has been the pastor of Lindale Mennonite Church in Harrisonburg, Va., for the past 12 years.
