Special Holy Week services set

Fairfield Area Ministerial Association has planned special noontime community Holy Week services Monday through March 25 at five different Fairfield churches.

The ecumenical services begin at 12:05 p.m., and are followed by a luncheon. A free-will offering is collected for the lunch and will benefit the Fairfield area Ministerial Association?s transient fund.

The services will be held: Monday at First Presbyterian Church; Tuesday at Word of Life Lutheran Church; Wednesday at St. Mary Catholic Church; Thursday at Fairfield Friends Church, and March 25 at First Baptist Church.

The annual services are designed so a working person can attend during his or her lunch hour. Traditionally, those who need to return to work are asked to go to the front of the line. Everyone is invited.
